The project with reference number IDI-20190865, entitled “RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN AUTONOMOUS IOT TRACKER PROTOTYPE THROUGH THE DESIGN OF A NEW TRACKER CIRCUIT AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF A LOW-LEVEL ALGORITHM (FIRMWARE) FOR DEVICE ENERGY MANAGEMENT”, carried out by VERSA DESIGN S.L., with tax identification number (CIF) B64995640, aims to promote technological development, innovation and high-quality research. It has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the CDTI R&D programme (PID), with a total approved budget of €346,220, and was carried out in 2019 and 2020.

The project with reference number IDI-20200628, entitled “MECHANICAL, ELECTRONIC AND MAGNETIC DEVELOPMENT OF A DIRECT-DRIVE INDOOR CYCLING TRAINER”, carried out by VERSA DESIGN S.L., with tax identification number (CIF) B64995640, aims to promote technological development, innovation and high-quality research. It has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under the CDTI R&D programme (PID), with a total approved budget of €349,045, and was carried out between 2020 and 2023.

The project with reference number IDI-20250054, entitled “DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW BATTERY-POWERED ROBOT FOR SWIMMING POOL CLEANING”, carried out by VERSA DESIGN S.L., with tax identification number (CIF) B64995640, aims to develop an innovative prototype of an autonomous robot for residential swimming pool cleaning, incorporating advanced navigation systems and new cleaning technologies to improve efficiency, safety and sustainability in this sector. The project has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with a total approved budget of €602,651 and an implementation period spanning 2024 to 2026 in Massalfassar (Valencia).
The project IMINOD/2025/124, entitled “New electronic architecture with power measurement and smart braking for indoor cycling”, has been developed by Versa Design, S.L. under the 2025 SME Innovation Projects programme (INNOVATeiC-CV) of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE). The aim of this project is to develop a new electronic architecture for the ZBike smart bike, incorporating an advanced power measurement system, an electronic smart braking and emergency braking system, and new firmware offering improved connectivity and integration with simulation platforms, in order to improve the accuracy, safety and performance of indoor training. The project has an eligible budget of €96,297.60 and has received a grant of €33,704.16 awarded by IVACE, with funding from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The project IMINOD/2025/53, entitled “DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW HIGH-PERFORMANCE INDOOR BIKE WITH A FREEWHEEL”, has been developed by Versa Design, S.L. under the 2025 SME Innovation Projects programme (INNOVAProD-CV) of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE). The aim of this project is to develop a new indoor product, specifically a bike with a freewheel transmission system designed to provide a more realistic pedalling experience tailored to the needs of professional cyclists. The bike will incorporate improvements in ergonomics, mechanics and electronics, including a contactless magnetic braking system, a reduced Q factor and a lighter frame, as well as wireless electronic shifting for an optimised user experience. The project has an eligible budget of €163,426.00 and has received a grant of €57,199.10 awarded by IVACE, with funding from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
VERSA DESIGN, SL. has carried out the project “ACQUISITION OF INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY AND TECHNICAL INSTALLATIONS TO CREATE A PRODUCTION LINE FOR CYCLING TRAINERS AND STATIONARY BIKES FOR INDOOR TRAINING”, with reference number INPYME/2020/492. The project is part of the programme supporting the competitiveness and sustainability of industrial SMEs in the Valencian Community in the following sectors: footwear, ceramics, metalworking, textiles, toys, marble, wood, furniture and lighting, chemicals, automotive, plastics, containers and packaging, paper and graphic arts, waste recovery, biotechnology, audiovisual production and video game production. A maximum grant of €173,563.35 was awarded under the third phase of the Strategic Plan for Valencian Industry, pursuant to the Resolution of 7 October 2020 issued by the Director-General for Industry, Energy and Mining.
VERSA DESIGN, SL. has carried out the project “UPGRADING TECHNICAL INSTALLATIONS AND ACQUIRING MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE ZBIKE AND ZDRIVE PRODUCTION LINES TO SET UP A PRODUCTION LINE FOR CYCLING TRAINERS AND STATIONARY BIKES FOR INDOOR TRAINING”, with reference number INPYME/2021/545. The project is part of the programme supporting the competitiveness and sustainability of industrial SMEs in the Valencian Community in the following sectors: footwear, ceramics, metalworking, textiles, toys, marble, natural stone and aggregates, wood, furniture and lighting, chemicals, automotive, plastics, containers and packaging, paper and graphic arts, waste recovery, and the emerging sectors of biotechnology, audiovisual production and video game production. It falls within the fourth phase of the Strategic Plan for Valencian Industry and received a grant of €44,922.29 under the Resolution of 9 July 2021 issued by the Director-General for Industry, Energy and Mining.
